Event Description :
In contrast to physical property, intellectual property is an intangible asset of a person. They are the legally recognized exclusive rights to creations of the mind. Every creative work requires subsequent investment of time, resources and energy. Thus, it is necessary to recognize and respect the intellectual creations of a creator.
The main aim of the event is to bring awareness among the people about Intellectual property rights legislation India. The proposed event is going to be organized in heartland of India, that is Bundelkhand region of Uttar Pradesh. The region is recently notified as a defense corridor of India.
Event will provide platform for IPR stakeholders to contemplate on Indian innovation and IPR legislation establish process and procedure taking into consideration vast non English speaking population of India. This is the first event which will be organized in Indian native and official language on IPR in India.
The event focuses on delivering knowledge about the common types of Intellectual Property Rights which are patents, copyrights, trademarks, industrial designs, geographical indications, trade secrets, layout designs for integrated circuits and even ideas. There will also be a discussion on how Intellectual property rights provide an incentive to the creator to develop his creation and to share it with other people for the development of the society and how IPRs helps in meeting the challenges in the development like reducing poverty, stimulating economic growth, improving the health status by providing medicines to the poor, improving access to education and contributing the overall sustainable development.

संगोष्टी का विवरण
भौतिक संपदा के आलावा, बौद्धिक संपदा किसी व्यक्ति की असल संपत्ति है। वे मन की रचनाओं के लिए, कानूनी रूप से मान्यता प्राप्त विशेष अधिकार हैं। प्रत्येक रचनात्मक कार्य के लिए समय, संसाधन और ऊर्जा के निवेश की आवश्यकता होती है। इसीलिए सभी रचनाकारो की बौद्धिक रचनाओं को पहचानना और उनका सम्मान करना आवश्यक है।
संघोष्ठी का मुख्य उद्देश्य लोगों के बीच भारतीय भाषा में बौद्धिक संपदा के अधिकार के कानून के बारे में जागरूकता प्रदान करना है। प्रस्तावित कार्यक्रम भारत के हृदय प्रदेश (जो उत्तर प्रदेश का बुंदेलखंड क्षेत्र है) में आयोजित होने जा रहा है, इस क्षेत्र को हाल ही में भारत के एक रक्षा गलियारे के रूप में अधिसूचित किया गया है।
भारत की विशाल गैर अंग्रेजी बोलने वाली आबादी को ध्यान में रखते हुए संघोष्ठी आईपीआर के हितधारकों के लिए, भारतीय नवाचार पर विचार करने के लिए मंच प्रदान करेगा। प्रथम बार भारत देश में आईपीआर पर संघोष्ठी हिंदी भाषा में आयोजित की जा रही है।
इस संघोष्ठी का उद्देश्य, बौद्धिक संपदा अधिकारों के बारे में जानकारी साझा करना जैसे- पेटेंट, कॉपीराइट, ट्रेडमार्क, औद्योगिक डिजाइन, भौगोलिक संकेत, इंटीग्रेटेड सर्किट आदि है।
संघोष्ठी में इस विषय पर भी चर्चा होगी कि कैसे बौद्धिक संपदा अधिकार, निर्माता को अपनी रचना विकसित करने और समाज के विकास के लिए अन्य लोगों की मदद करने के लिए प्रोत्साहन प्रदान करते हैं और कैसे IPR, विकास में बाधक गरीबी को कम करने जैसी चुनौतियों का सामना करने में मदद करता है। आर्थिक विकास, गरीबों को दवाइयाँ प्रदान करके स्वास्थ्य की स्थिति में सुधार, शिक्षा की पहुँच में सुधार और समग्र सतत विकास में आईपीआर का क्या योगदान हो सकता है।
